SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Students are representatives of our school from leaving home until they return and are thus expected to set themselves a high standard of behaviour both inside and outside the school.

DRESS CODE

  • Uniform should be worn tidily ironed and correctly. Shirts are to be tucked in, socks are to be pulled up, heel straps in place.
  • Hair must be neatly cut / pinned / plaited and combed. Fancy Hair styles and coloured hair is not allowed. The length of the hair should not be touching the shirt collar and should be off the face at all times. Failure to comply may result in the student being sent home after two warnings recorded in the handbook. Students are not permitted to have tattoos. Students are to be clean - shaven at all times while representing the school. Students are not permitted to wear costly or fancy watches, chains, anklets, earnings etc.
  • Students should leave the premises immediately after school duties / responsibilities are completed.

BEHAVIOUR

  • Students must respect their peers and teachers regardless of ethnicity, religion or gender.
  • Students must converse only in English in the campus.
  • Students will not be permitted to use mobile phones.
  • Running and shouting in the corridors different class rooms.
  • Students must not indulge in fights, physical and verbal abuse in school.
  • Chewing chicklets and gum in the school campus is strictly forbidden.
  • Students must not loiter in the corridors unnecessarily during break and lunch time.
  • Students are to work diligently not only on assigned daily class work, Home work projects, Record works and others but also have regular self-revision in order to ensure quality work is produced.

MAINTENANCE OF STUDY MATERIALS

  • All school Text Books and Note Books must be wrapped, labelled and neatly maintained throughout the year.
  • Books must be brought according to the days time table without fail.
  • 5 marks will be allotted for Note Book Maintenance, which will be added with internal assessment marks.
  • Students must submit their Note Books whenever asked for inspection by getting correction and checked seal from the Teachers.

SCHOOL HAND BOOK

  • Every student must possess a copy of the school Hand Book and it should be brought to the school daily and presented to the teacher as and when requested.
  • All remarks in the Hand Book must be promptly signed by the parent.
  • Parents may not write notes in the school Hand Book. Please use separate paper for any such purposes.
  • Parents must refer and acknowledge the HOME ASSIGNMENT Column everyday.

  • In case the student looses the Hand book, it may be purchased from the office without any delay.

    CYBER SAFETY

  • Students and Parents are expected to read the CYBER SAFETY AGREEMENT given in the Hand Book. Kindly make your child aware of the transformation taking place.

BULLYING

  • Any form, verbal or physical or any means of bullying or victimisation is strictly forbidden.

SCHOOL PROPERTY

  • Students must take care of the school property. No scratches, writings or damages may be made on the school furniture or walls.
  • Students must keep the school environment clean and tidy free from litter.
  • Do not deface or damage school property. Students who vandalize the school property will make restitution.

ABSENT AND LEAVE TAKING

  • If a student is absent for any reason, parents must leave a message with student's name, class sec and reason for the absence.
  • After an absence from school, student must bring on the day of return a letter signed by his / her parents stating the reason for the absence and show it to the class Teacher.
  • Students are discouraged from coming to school prior to 7.45 am because of lack of adult supervision.
  • Strive to be present every school day.
  • Students must be at school sharp at 8.00 A.M. Late comers will not be entertained they will be marked half a day absence.
